I think that some of the best series out there definately comes from Korea. One great series is "Love letter." It's about this orphaned guy who got a better chance at life by liveing with his uncle who was a priest, then seeing how nice his uncle was in wanting to help people he decided to make it his goal in becoming one too. Then another girl arrives at the church. She is an orphan as well. They become good friends til college, then things change. I highly recommend it.
