This thread discusses the Content article: Bleach

This maybe a silly thing to ask but with the recent events of the storyline in series do ppl think that Bleach maybe coming to close? As after this arc that they are in, I dont really forsee more after this arc at the moment. Of course I have not read the manga and there might be more material but after defeating the bad guys in this arc, are there any more stronger villians or a more evil villain than Aizen . I wont deny that I believe that there are still alot of episodes in this arc, they could just create some bad guy for Ichigo to go against and there still alot of mystery in the plot. However I fell that the main enemy of Ichigo maybe defeated after this arc. What do you think?

I'd say that there's a possibility of keeping the show interesting with new villains, but with the way they are just adding filler after filler after filler, I don't think they have the creative means of doing it well. Honestly, I'd rather not see this show try to take on more than it can handle and so far, it's doing just that.

Well concerning this Arc I can see it going on for quite a while as lets face it Ichigo can't even hope to dream that he a 1/100th the power of Aizen let alone actually beat him. Infact if it was the whole of soul society vs Aizen Aizen would still win with ease he is just too insanely powerful for anyone to come close.

As for the next arc well I think there will be one but it won't be a new villian as Aizen will still be it it will be just that they (Ichigo and co) manage to beat the arrancar and destroy/take that cube thing i forgot the name of, thus the next arc would be Aizen's Plan B for universe domination.

I agree with less filler and not go down the route of Naruto which just prolonged the original idea, imao was a decision that the director took to try and keep the audience to continue watching but failed and lost the auidence before it could continue with the original idea. In the case of Bleach there was the bount arc however the creators did a good job by having an interesting concept and began the new arc before the audience was not interested .I believe that bleach is going into a filler stage now since its near the end of the year with some sort of year special but they may decide to leave audience on a cliffhanger with an epic episode, wonder what are chances of them doing that?

Considering the story now with your input the likelyness of Aizen in a new arc are high but my theory now is that he is likely successful with his plans and the heroes chases after him to that heaven thing. Also the hoyuko (spelling ) wont be destroyed , to make that key thing. However do you think they should just have ichigo kill Aizen since Ichigo's powers are still a mystery and that would be the end of Aizen ?

He might make the key to go to the King's place, however he won't win in taking it over but again I don't know how as he is pretty much impossible to beat, now I'm currently reading the manga so I don't want to spoil anything however like what I have said before and which is evident to most people no one, including Ichigo, comes close to Aizen's power, thus Ichigo will not be able to beat him at the moment.

If you read the manga then you will get a reflexion of just how much of a power difference there is between Ichigo and Aizen, although even without reading it you can tell.

But whatever happens in this Arc I am almost postive that Aizen will be in the next arc.

So what you're saying, Timewiz, is that Bleach is going to be at least double it's current length in number of episodes and a good 3/4 of that is going to be filler showing Ichigo trying to get stronger, right?

Yes pretty much, although maybe not 3/4 fillers, I'm thinking more along the lines of less than 1/5.

I really hope so. The obscene amount of fillers that Bleach is going through right now is really pissing me off (and everyone else too, as can be seen in the shoutbox )

LOL!! So true, so true.

Well they've got back on track with the manga now and we are now seeing some proper fights develop in the anime, although none as good as the ones in the manga at the moment. Lets just hope they don't spend whole episodes talking, like they do in Naruto.

I think Bleach is still going strong, I mean they've just announced a second movie!

Was I the only one thinking that Nel's powers were gonna be ultra cool.
