I'm a big fan of Orange Road, Love Hina, Maison Ikkoku and Ranma. (Oh, and Ah My Goddess)

I'm just wanting to get some names of other series in
similar style or story. There's alot of new stuff out there
(I'm obviously an old-schooler)
And I don't know mach about it.

If you can recommend a series (or 3 or 4 or 5)

For lovey romantic series, short series such REC and Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is really good, new series last season, you can watch True Tears ...

* (mahou sensei) Negima! Magister Magi Negi and Negima!? Neo!, both based on mahou sensei Negima! magister magi negi manga done by Akamatsu Ken ( Love Hina ). Not quite what i would call romantic but more romantic then love hina...

* emma - a victorian love ( i didn't like it )

Also, most eroge based stuff usually has a great romantic component.
