i did manage to get avi files of CG. If you want, i can e-mail it to you with your e-mail address since i don't know how to upload it or anywhere. sorry...

I loved the first series and so I'm really looking forward to the second one. Lucky for me, I have access to fast broadband and a gretty generous data limit each month.
Also matroska files are no problem ( I use VLC to play them with no problems) so the HD version is my preference.
For now, I'll get both SD and HD versions in case the decision is made to discontinue the HD version.

What's wrong with you people...Don't limit us because the majority can't get MKVs to work...HD is 100 times better than SD...I'm sorry it I sound kinda mean but I just think its wrong to make the minority suffer becouse of the majority...

It's not that we want to let the minority suffer, but on Animebreaker, we tend to stick with the universal format that everyone can watch, that's why all this time we try to stick with AVI format whenever it's possible, plus we also know our own limitation in uploading the series, we cant keep up with both format for the series, one or two might be ok, but we're talking about lots of anime series here that being released in both HD and SD format ...

Let me see, you don't want to "suffer" less video quality so that the rest of us can "enjoy" our inability to watch anime..

Ohhh ok, as I read Vanquiz last post I realized...There're not getting rid of HD (maybe) because most people can't watch it, there're getting rid of HD (maybe) because it's a lot of work to put two diffrent formates for a single episode out...sorry for the misunderstanding...

sorry for interrupting you guys but if they are going to get rid of one fomat i think to get rid of the avi is batter because the mkv hd is the greatest for that anime and if you want to make it work i can give you simple steps to do it ok
please dont get rid of the hd format man i was waiting for it from along time ago and i will post the steps if you wanna do it ok

anywho, i think avi is better for most people.Especially in slower connection country like me

I also prefer the HD version, but if you do drop that one, at least tell us where you get it from sothat we HD-preferers can continue watchhing

The subs seem kinda messed up, some random characters and stuff.

Well, first of all, thanks for uploading the series.

Second, I know how frustrating it can be to play MKV files. But, like many have said it is in fact a better quality file format and is worthwhile, if you like your anime in high quality.

Obviously though, the great size and troubleshooting it needs sometimes when things come up (for certain people) will tend to give problems.

If you have downloaded MKV files and really wish to keep it in AVI at all costs (maybe you want to watch using your DiVX player or something), then recently I've made a perfect conversion between MKV - AVi, while hardsubbing the subtitle file and keeping quality + subtitle + sub style and everything, perfect. Well, that, and a significantly lower file size.

How? Well, its gonna be tough writing the steps here so here you go, my blog:

Please try it out, I've even included pictures and download sites for the program. Sorry to somehow advertise like this but I really wanted to spread the word. This is, by far the best method I've found the convert MKVs to AVI.
