i was wondering if the files can be upload as avi instaed of mkv? my computer is having problems with mkv files so just wondering. thanks lots!

p.s. i think this is the first clamp anime i've enjoy in along time!

As far as I know, there's no AVI release for Code Geass, only MKV ...

But even though there are AVI releases, I really doubt we will uploading the same series with different format, we always try to stay with AVI as much as possible though ...

If you have problem with MKV files, try MPC or VLC in FAQ section, they both handled MKV files easily ...

I can suggest you try Total Video Converter. It's a very powerful program that can convert .MKVs (& almost any other format) into almost any other format (even for PSPs!). I use this for converting anime I download into .MPEGs which I then burn to DVD for use on a DVD player for watching on TV (and for sharing with a friend who doesn't have a computer). For anime .MKVs with separate subtitles, I first use MKVExtractGUI for separating the sub files (.ASS etc); I then use TVC to merge these into the .MPEGs I convert to (the prog even has the facility for selecting the sound, whether Japanese or English dub).

i'm having problems with this program (total video converter) *because i don't know how to use it* but it's nothing huge. my only problem is...when i convert the files into mpegs it no longer has subtitles. ahhh...what do i do? help, please?

I don't really use Mpeg that much but I'll assume it can handle external subtitle files (.ass, .srt, .idx, .sub etc.)

Because .mkv is a container when you convert it to .mpeg it will lose its subtitles since Mpeg and can't have subtitles within the file.

What you can do is demux the subtitles from the mkv container.

Some programs that you can use extract the subtitle file:
- mkvtoolnix
- VirtualDubMod

Hmm, maybe I'll pick it back up and try to make it to ep8. I stopped watching it a handful of episodes into season 2 because it started to get really boring.

Code Geass is starting to get good now
finally the action is getting started

Code Geass R2 is really good. It was slow for the first 2 episodes though. But I have watched all of them so far and it is now one of my favorite anime shows.

I wonder if they will come out with a season 3
