Im not sure how many of you watch sports anime.

But this one is amazing. The drama and suspense of each game. The tragedies that occur. The Rivals that show up to threaten the main character. Even characters just as good or better than the main character show up to make watching most enjoyable.

This is a must watch Anime with a wonderful story.

The only problem that i have is that he only throws fast balls. And if you follow baseball in the Major League you need at least 3 pitches to be dominate. 100 mph fastball is amazing. But if you don't have any curves or change ups, your toast. Those major league hitters will eat a 100 mph fast ball for lunch.

Goro reminds me of the real life Japanese Ace, that plays for the Boston Red Sox, Daisuke Matsuzaka. He throws the same type of fastball that the main character throws in this anime. Good thing Daisuke has more than just a fastball, he got hit pretty well in the majors for a second. Now that he changes up his pitches Daisuke is so hard to hit and is a main reason for the awesome run Boston Red Sox had. Daisuke was on the team that won the world series last year. Also he has Josh Becket to learn from !
