I use MegaManager to download often and it is really helpful when downloading files from Megaupload. MegaManager is a download accelerator similar to FlashGet and other download accelerators out there..

with MegaManager you can download more than 1 file at once.. and instead of keep clicking on each file you could just copy and paste the whole series (26 links+) .. more or less.. and download them all... one after another with only a few clicks.

**NOTE**FOR NON-USER AND FREE USERS OF MEGAUPLOAD

you can copy and paste the whole list of links.. but NOTE that you can ONLY download 1 at a time!!! so click on each individual link that you want to download.. once it's done you can click on the next.. if you click on download all working links.. a lot of windows will pop up.. it's because that feature is only available for premium users only.

you don't have to input the code or wait.. but your download limit still exist even when using MegaManager but sometime Megamanager is more lenient

also be sure to take advantage of happy hours

** MegaManager will not work with Mu links that are PASSWORD PROTECTED.... you will need to input the password for each file before the download can start via Mega Manager

and [b]when you [b]dowloading snipurl links[/b]/b].. even though the MU links of those snipurl links are still valid.. you will often encounter error when using Megamanager.. due to snipurl.. please take note of that ****

ALSO i created this guide based on the files we have here, at AB.. but most steps should work in most other places as well.

1-download MegaManager from MU webpape

if the links are in this format.. you could just select all (manually)and copy-- or-- right click -->select all--> and copy

if the links are in this format.. it's best to use FIREFOX since you can't just copy and select with IE..

to get the list of links when the links are in this format... use firefox.. 1- select all .. 2- right click.. 3- click on view selection source 4- copy the already selected info in the pop up window


**NOTE** don't worry.. just copy ALL.. when you paste everything into MegaManager link checker.. only the links will show up..... and.. you also have the option to save the list of links for back up or whatever you choose


3- log in to MegaManager (it's the same user and pass that you input into their webpage

4- Paste the list of links you just copied into MegaManager link checker

then press ok..

5- Click "TEST LINKS"... MegaManager will test which links are valid or invalid and also provide the NAME of the file of each specific link for you (DESCRIPTION IS ONLY FOR VALID LINKS).

6- once the check is complete you can choose to "download all the working links" or "delete the broken ones". MAKE sure you set the folder you want the files to be in.. if not. it will just save the files into the Mu download files folder.

once the download starts it will look like this.

that is all.. the download will start.. and when the top file is done.. it will automatically move down the list..


***NOTE*** These might not be 100% correct.. so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.


ONLY MU PREMIUM MEMBERS can download 3-4 files at a time and at MAX SPEED with NO LIMIT...

for FREE users.. i think it's 1 file at a time with LIMIT SPEED and LIMIT DOWNLOAD

but i think.. BOTH TYPE OF USERS CAN RESUME BROKEN DOWNLOAD

also.. MegaManager is a good place to manage your uploads. The files that you just upload will not show up on file manager on MU page right away.. but they will show up in Megamanager.. not to mention.. you can sort the files and look for them more easily ..comparing to via Mu webpage.


**you can also upload via MegaManager but i RARELY use it.. so i don't know.. but i recommend for download use MegaManager.. but if it's upload.. then use MU webpage instead..

for those who wondering about the other tabs in Mega Manager

. um.. yes.. Megaupload is the same guys behind Megarotic (i think they called it MegaPorn now aday).. the membership for both are different though.. so don't expect your MU premium membmership to give you free access to Megarotic..

i rarely use Megarotic.. but. i think it's pretty much like Megaupload.. except.. for the files. will find most files on Megaupload but the files that are on Megarotic (MegaPorn) are porn.

MegaVideo --->Adult verion --> MegaPornVideo

Thats a very helpful tip. I actually never thought about using link test to download all the working links.

Just a few more tips

1. yes, free members only dl 1 at a time with increased speeds but not full speed (free - I get 600-1.6mb/s, with premium - I get over 6mb/s thanks to their accelerator Too bad my computer can't handle the speed ).

2. Note that in the future for most anime series that copying files to MegaManager will be impossible since most of the megaupload links will be masked. EDIT--> I just got word that this may not be true.

3. Don't use MegaManager to upload. Why? Just don't.

4. This may be false, yet true that it happens, but most anti virus programs (normally ones you have to pay for) detects the Megatool Bar as a potentially unwanted risk to your computer. I never tried it but its up to you guys.

Edit 5. O yea, one more thing most people I know don't know about. If you buy premium membership once for a month, the countdown no longer exist even when your premium is gone.

i downloaded Clannad (psp) yesterday.. all the files are snip url.. but i can download them just fine.. it's just sometimes.. a few of them will show up as invalid.. but just restart them again once you downloaded the other files.


as for the countdown.. they are back?? .. i think about a few weeks ago.. for some reason.. even for free users.. you only need to input the code then start the download.. without having to wait..

i guess wait time is back then??

It never went away. Since you paid for ur premium once before, it no longer exists. I remember not signing in at school once and I got the count down, but then I signed in and no countdown (without premium).

i used a different computer at the library each time.. and didn't log in.. and there was no wait time..


but i started to use mega manager on the laptop for the past few weeks.... so i'm not sure if it's back or not.. maybe it is..

The download manager doesn't work well with free account. IDK if premium have to do captcha, but it interfers with the manager on mine. I prefer the hyperlink format, it only requires a little typing for the captcha's.

just note that for NON user and FREE users.. you limited to 1 download at time..


so if you click on DOWNLOAD ALL button (the small play button).. it will pop up multiple MU pages.. instead..

but if you download it 1 by 1. you should be fine... so copy and paste the list.. then copy 1 by 1.. moving down the list..

note that your limit still exist unless it's happy hour..


i use mega-manager because i don't need to input the code or wait ...like how it is with the MU webpage.

you can use it if you like.

but note that the percentage of your upload froze, didn't fully upload etc.. are high..

You want to know why? You cant just trust my words without question? BANNED!!

Nah, just kidding.

Main reason is Too many bugs.

You know how megaupload has their "flash uploading:" (instant uploads but not an official name)? The Manager is old and not updated, and doesn't seem to do this instantly. The site however does. I've also ran into many issues where my uploads would take 15 billion years just to upload. You may also receive several errors during your uploads (as well as dls).

The managers FileManager has the old interface so you can't use the features that are on the site. I'm not sure why they just left the manager hanging but thats how it is.

Also, and the most annoying part, (sigh,) If you skip/pause the current upload in the manager, and you still have other file in queue in uploading, it will mess the whole thing up.

Even if you reupload it, it will give you the same old link, unless you deleted the files from your storage via file manager. +, the file names will be out of order. For example, lets say you uploaded.. shippuuden ep 100-120, and you gave each a description name (naruto ep 100, naruto ep 101, naruto ep 102, etc etc.....). You may run into files that are corrupted, or files that has the file name[HorribleSubs]_Naruto_Shippuuden_100_-_480p.mkv with the discription naruto ep 120.

In other words, the manager is glitchy. Just don't use it for uploading. I only use its link checker and dl if I decide to get premium.

meh, it comes from experience.

of course everything is related..I was saying how awesome it is that he knows all about the aspects of the Megaupload downloading capacities as well as computer hardware. but i could pm him tho. hehehe.
