Can't find subtitle track on Inu Yasha .ogm files 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Help! ): I've downloaded the first ep of Inu Yasha and can't find how to play the subtitles. I've found the Japanese audio, and tried GOM player and VLC media player. I understand that, since this is a .ogm file, I need to turn on the subtitles manually. Thanks, Cedric.

This this It's for external subtitles but the DIrectVobSub works for subtitles that are located inside the container.

Sorry, I still can't get it to work:

* The file downloads as a .ogm file. I don't see a .rar file (or subtitle files) as in your example.
* I've installed DirectVobSub, although I don't see an arrow icon at the bottom of my screen.
* With VLC viewer, I don't see the option to turn on subtitles. iirc, It should be under Video.

You don't see the subtitles because it does not use an external subtitle file. DVS works with Media Player Classic. If you have DVS installed and you run a video that has subtitles, the green arrow thing will appear and when you right click on it, you can choose the subtitles you want. You can refer to this post, it's pretty much your same problem Link

Thanks -- I should have mentioned that I suspected the subtitles were missing. Any chance of uploading this series with subtitles? I would really appreciate it. ps. Looks like the .mkv files have subs. Woohoo!

Hmm, looks like you're right, I just downloaded it, I couldnt find the sub as well
