Yosh!! Death Note does rule!! ...up to episode 26.
After (biggest spoiler)L died(end of biggest spoiler) it got boring, but it was nonetheless a good anime/manga, although I liked the ending to the manga a lot more (both the feel of it and the last 1-2 pages, which was not in the anime).
