Maria-sama ga Miteru
Genres:
Drama,
Romance,
Shoujo
Plot Summary:
Yumi
is a first year student at the Lillian School For Girls, an exclusive
all girl's catholic school. The school has a tradition that older girls
take a younger girl as their little sister or "soeur" in order to
instruct and look out for them. Though Yumi admires Sachiko, a reserved
second year student who is a member of the student council, she has no
hopes of being chosen as her soeur. When an innocent encounter leads
Sachiko to impulsively ask Yumi to be her soeur, Yumi is suddenly
brought into the inner circle of the Roses, who are the members of the
student council. With Sachiko at her side, Yumi begins to unravel and
understand the relationships between the Roses and their soeurs and
figure out her own feelings for Sachiko.

Maria-sama ga Miteru 2nd Season
The season has turned to spring, and it's graduation time for the Rosas
of the yamayurikai (the student council). While graduating is step
towards a greater future, it also forces the girls to sadly part with
their petite soeur. In addition, the en boutons, who are next to become
full-fledged Rosas, now have to shoulder the full responsibility of the
student council. With the new first year students lined up to attend
and the soon-to-be-alumni on their way out the door, this truly is a
season of change...
Maria-sama ga Miteru 3rd Season
At the all-girls Lillian Academy, life continues at a slow page. Yumi
and Sachiko attempt to elope during the holiday, but have an
unfortunate encounter with some of Sachiko's old "friends" instead.
Back at school, Yumi and rest of the Lillian student council concoct
their next fiendish scheme: trick Sachiko into fulfilling her role as a
judge at Hanadera Academy's school festival. And so, with potential
petite soeurs, creepy stalkers and even creepier kidnappers to keep her
life interesting (not to mention her limited “alone time” with
Sachiko), the saga of Yumi continues. Luckily for the duo, their time
together proves all the more precious for the trials they have to face.

Maria-sama ga Miteru 4th Season
Lillian Girls’ Academy is about to have its school festival, and
members of the student council are preparing for the event. As per
tradition the yamayurikai are putting on a play with the help of the
nearby Hanadera boys’ school, and this year Yumi and her brother Yuki
are playing the lead roles. While it is hoped that all will go without
a hitch, problems arise when Kanako’s hatred of men leads her to become
unhappy with her participation, and Touko quits the drama club
following a disagreement with a senpai. With Yumi attempting to resolve
her juniors’ situations, she finds she has no time to plan for the
anniversary of becoming Sachiko’s petite soeur; though all she can
think about is her impending need to find a soeur of her own once the
festival ends. Once Yoshino decides to hold an audition to find her
younger sister, will Yumi be able to use this situation to finally
decide upon a petite soeur of her own?
