A. Use either WinRAR or PowerArchiver

A. If the extension is .EMM or something chances are that it was orginally a RAR file, just rename the extension and open the file

A. tools => folder options => view => hidden files and folders => uncheck hide extensions for known file types

A: An AVC file is basically an imporve version of the MP4 format for psps, basically AVCs are usually either a lil bigger or a lil smaller than MP4 but have a higher quality, for AVC s to work you need either a firmware 2.0+ psp or an emulated version

Putting MP4 files in the PSP 

if its 3.0+ you can just make a folder (name it Video) on your memory card, then you can just dump the MP4 videos in there with out having to rename the em

if your firmware is below 3.0 you have to make a folder named

MP_ROOT on your memory stick, with in the MP_ROOT folder make two folders, 1 should be named 10#MNV01 and another folder named 10#ANV01 (#=any digit you desire)

10#MNV01 is for regular MP4s which is what a majority of the psp iles here are

10#ANV01 is for AVC files, same thing as the regular MP4s but better quality and bigger file size

if its a regular MP4 vid and you have to put it in the 100MNV01, name the file M4V#####.mp4 (#=any digits you desire)

for files that have to go in the 100ANV01 folder, name them MAQ#####.mp4 (#=any digits you desire)
